68 200 Engine Oil Dipstick question.

How long is the oil dipstick supposed to be from where it seats on top of the dipstick tube to the end? I wonder about mine because when I changed the oil it only took like 4 quarts? Is that right? My dipstick doesn't seem right though.

Well, did you change the filter? If not, then 4 quarts is right. If you changed the filter, then 4.5 quarts.

I did change the filter, and if I remeber correctly I put in 4 quarts, and it ended up marking just a tad to much after it had been run.
