After market cam with stock rear end

Can a clifford 264 cam be use with a stock 2.83 gear differential, from a 65 mustang. What can a expect from these cam swap.
 
That can has a fair sized lift for short duration. Hence, they rate it from 2000RPM up.

It will work better with a manual box. You'd possibly need a stall converter made up for an auto. I'd actually suggest Crow cams' 63602 instead.

Either cam choice would need uprated springs, as the stockers will bind. :shock:
