Are XP brake cylinders the same as XL??

Hi again, just a quick one as one of my front wheel cylinders is weeping, I got a replacement from Repco which is from an XP. The casting numbers are the same but the XL one has a "Square" cast into it after the number. The XP one has an "S" cast into it after the number, are these the same as I want to fit it to my XL pretty soon. If not I'll have to return it to Repco.

I wouldn't sweat on it. If the size and bore are the same, you're OK. Surprised you didn't swap the pair. Things like that are usually cheaper if you don't go to Repco.
