Aussie 2v with Holley 4v 650 CFM -More pic's

Dennis,
dyno numbers yet?

Next week is our plan, it's too hot here this week, temp hitting 96*-99* today next week cooler 89*

Update: Aussie 4V tuned and running good, Jason says "His fuel gage much be broken as it's moving to "E" faster than he's ever seen!

Ohhh! Yes, I will post the dyno numbers after his run's.

hey i was just wondering what you were using as an Air cleaner. I took an extra one barrel air cleaner and cut it and bet the dish out, i was wondering what you did, always looking for better ways.

Kstang,
We are both using the Pep Boys 9"x 2" chrome air cleaner that they stock in their street rod fix up section, $14.95 if I recall, cheap and looks good and more to the point it fit's the carb and clears the hood!

So what's it like to drive?
I'd like to try it with a 270 cam and some 4.11 gears! :D

John

Ben,

Sorry to bug, I know it's been about 100 Celsius(well almost at least) up there in Central County but have you had Jason's beast dynoed[sp]?

I think you mean 100deg farenheit? 100deg celsius is boiling point of water, 212 deg F. :)

I'm late to respond to this thread but it really caught my eye. Is this quite possibly the first mustang inline six with a 4 bbl (in the US at least)? I've wanted to get a 4bbl for a long time but the adaptors I'd have to run never looked to be any good for flow/performance, and/or I'd never been able to secure another 250 2v intake manifold for modification (to fit 4bbl)

So now that you've had some time with it, how's it running?

KcStanger,
I don't think ours is the first in the US, I'am sure there are others but maybe none on this board before? The 4v runs great and I had hoped to have dyno results by today but have been too busy at work and on my 2v Aussie head this week have it worked for better flow. The 4v Aussie runs great, but dyno will have to wait til next week. Yes I'll post the results just as soon as I have them.
