I have heard that some early single bolt patern to bell housing 170 enginc came with a taxi package or heavy duty clutch. This had a bell housing that you had to remove the flywheel and then reach inside and remove the bolts. This was done to give more room for a larger flywheel and clutch. Does anyone know anything about this and what cars and models it came in? Now does anyone have this setup and would like to sell it? I assume it would have only been before the duel bolt pattern since after that you could easily install a larger bell housing.
