Carb Gaskets

Just curious as to what everyones preference is? I used the thicker gasket with the nylon bushings at the bolt hokes, didn' seem to work so good with the DGES. Then I tried the paper thin one, same result so I'm curious as to what everyone else uses. Yes, day off and bored

That may be the ticket. I can't seem to find one that is thick enough paper so I'll just cut my own this time.

Sometimes you have to use the thickest possible gasket in order to minimize boiling the gas out of the carb after shutdown. Depends on underhood temps and other variables.

They usually have a few different thicknesses of gasket paper at the parts store. Its basically just cardboard, so you can use a shoebox or a cereal box too. I made an intake gasket for my old Honda out a a Golden Grams box
