condensation problems

Weather has been hovering around freezing here and wet.
I think I'm getting condensation in the intake manifold after driving, getting the engine hot, and then leaving it for 24hrs or so.
The tank and gas is good, I have much antifreeze in it, but really hard to start tonight.
It started, then quit, then I got it going by having my wife hold the gas pedal WOT while cranking, and spraying Cold Start in it.
I can imagine the plugs being initially dry, then getting wet due to a puddle of water in the log and requiring the drying effect of the spray. Quite a bit of water-like sparking and popping while cranking.
I think I'm getting water-logged  :P
Any advice is appreciated.

Check inside your distributor cap. Wipe it off with a clean dry cloth. I don't think condensation in the intake would be the problem. Bad spark plug wires would be the 2nd place I looked. Dwell for points & timing come to mind next. Checking coil voltage is another thought. How about a vacuum leak. Not many possible places to have a leak, but try plugging the port under the carb on the intake or carb adapter/spacer/heater. I once had my carb body get loose from the throttle plate base of the carb.

I put some silicone dielectric on the distibutor contacts the other day.
I will, however, have a look and check all the plug wires, as you suggest.
I should swap out the plugs and check them while I'm at it.
Newish coil, and runs like stink once she gets going, I mean runs really well.
And just had a tank of gas go bad a few days ago, so that's why I think it's condensation.
