I got the timing chain today. As long as the dots line up I'm alright, correct? I think I may have spun the cam and the crank a few times in different directions. But the dots line up now.
What if anything here needs to be torqued down. To what?
There is the thing with the numbers on it for the timing built onto the timing cover. Mine also had another one covering the one on the cover. Which one to use?
After putting on the new chain it reallyshowed me how loose the old one was. Maybe this was causing some of my problems.
