Well guys it runs!

Fired up the engine yesterday! Just ran a few minutes to break in the cam. The timing was too far advanced so I had to remove the intake and duraspark to grind a bit more because the dizzy got hung up. Seems to be pumping oil fine and no fluid leaks anywhere.

I want to thank ALL the guys here who helped me pull this off. I really never could have done this without you guys!

Here is what I ended up using

US waterpump
Crow cam and gear
Oz fuel pump
Duraspark setup (had to grind a bit on the block and PS bracket to fit)
Flex fan with 69 mustang radiator
alternator and ps pumps off the old 200
US 200 starter
stock exhaust manifold
1v intake with Stromberg carby (awesome little carb)

Headers and a 2V carb will be upgrades in the near future.

alright!!

hey I found that 5200 carb of mine. it seems it is missing the choke pulldown rod. basicly the choke will stay open all the time. is that ok?

Congrats on getting the old girl running.

On the carby w/out the choke...I've been running mine without a choke for a long time. It starts right up without a hitch every time.

I think you will like the xflow. You can't hardly compare it to a log motor, at least in stock trim...
