Direct Mount Holley

Does anyone know the exact height when using a stock 200 rocker cover the spacer’s would have to be for a 350 Holley install, the pics i have seen i think are for weber, would 2” be to high?

Not sure I understand the question...do you mean how high off the log does the carb need to be to clear the valve cover? If that is the question I used to run a single 1/2 inch plate that is screwed to the log with the stock valve cover with no issues. I currently have a 1/2 inch aluminum spacer along with a 1/2 phenolic spacer to help with heat soak. You can kind of make that out in the below pic.

yeah thats what i was after Gene, in some pics it looks like 1-1/2 inch”, i have seen a 2” billet spacer, but liked the idea of a 1” with a phelonic 1/2"

Not to steal your post but along the same line.

Will the hood close on 65 Mustang with a direct mount 350 holley carb on it? Do you need to modify the air cleaner or use a carb hat and remote clearner?
Pictures Please

Thanks

200 or 250?

You should have plenty of hood clearance with a 200 using a direct mount Holley. It's when you have the taller deck 250 that you need to be careful on hood clearance.
