Electric fan?

I got thinking today, If I get rid of the stock mech fan, I could mount the intercooler behind the radiator in front of the engine, but is this a good idea? I figure, I could use a fan in front of the radiator controlled with a temp switch. but I want to run EFI so I will need a place for a coolant sender and the original temp sender to begin with, are there any other usable ports I can use for coolant temp? could I tee off the block for coolant temp?

It would probably be better to mount the intercooler in front of the radiator. There would be cooler air there and more space.

yeah, that's true. I could get a bigger intercooler then too. I'll just have to cut out 2 holes in the front " wall " for the piping

That's what most people do. It would be very crowded in there if the intercooler was after the radiator.
