Looks to be straight on the body lines

Edit: Big plus has very nice chrome and stainless won't take much work to clean up and polish those parts.

Kouwell! Thanx 4 the pic.
Looks like my daily driver 'cept for thje tires. I just buffed it down & put a "rattle can paint job" on. Oh, no that wuz some primed areas, I used a paint roller. Gotta get it drivin 1st in my opinion. That's what there 4 - transportation & income...also autobody is slo'n hard wrk.

The reason I ask is because I found some 15'' 4 lug rims off of a focus with p195/60r15 tires on it and need to know if they will fit. thanks in advance.

The biggest factory wheels were 14's for the Falcons, Comet, Mustangs, and up to about 72 or 73 Maverick that still had the right bolt circle 4 Lug wheels. Later models have different bolt spacing so you would need a spacer or re drilling of the hubs, their are some other brands of cars or the aftermarket wheels too but 15's will be harder to find.

what is the bolt spacing on the stock rims? as i said i know of some 15''s off a focus just need to figure out if they would fit or not. Like what about back spacing and offset and all that stuff?

The early 4 lugs on the Falcons, Comet, Mustangs, and Mavericks used a 4 x 4.5 inch bolt circle. The Pinto, Mustang II, later model Mustangs (Fox chassis) and other newer model Fords used a 4 x 4.25 inch bolt circle. To figure out back spacing and to get into the ballpark take one of your rims and lay a straight edge across back side and measure to were the wheel face bolts on than do the same for the wheel you are looking at if they are close it could fit but also check dia. and width measurements to see if will fit into the wheel wells and clear steering parts. For a simple test you could cut a piece of plywood to the wheels dia and drill holes to be able to mount it. Than bolt to front hub and turn the wheels through the turning circle to see if it would hit anything than try it on the rear usually there is much more room on rear to fit a bigger dia. than on the front.

so mine is 4.5''? what back spacing would i be able to run? on summitracing.com there is rims with 3.5'' back spacing, would that fit?

EDIT: my bad, didnt see that.

I have a problem...when the engine is running the exhaust sounds somewhat like an air compressor, also it will only run when choked. My dad thinks its a valve? any ideas?

New thread/post?

Could be a valve or a flat cam lobe, then again it could be something completely different. You will need to do some testing like compression and a leak down if you have a tester.

hope I findya, dude. wanna C more pic (esp as U have mechanical Qs)...

Did it run that way before the carb work or after ?
On the radio question , it may not have had a radio till years later . Radios and many other items were options . Is there a block off plate [also called a "delete" plate] where the radio would be in the dash ? If so look for holes drilled in the bottom of the dash where someone probably put an add-on/under dash radio . By the early 70s the common replacement radios had a size , shape and knob placement that would not fit the dash of Falcons well .
