All Small Six Flowmaster Series 40 vs 50

This relates to all small sixes
I bought a 50 Series (852556) muffler for my 2.5" single exhaust. I did a mock up and the muffler is long, barely fits under the rear seat cowl and the axle but should be fine clearance wise...

Engine Masters tested 4" in and 4" out mufflers straight thru and baffled.
Straight thru are the loudest.
Maybe read the reviews on 2.5" turbo mufflers. They don't make as much noise as baffled or straight thru mufflers.
I ordered this muffler today. (Longer case versions are available. I read that the longer case mufflers make less noise.}
