Head Gasket questions

As some of you may know, im looking to get a head gasket thinner than 0.050".

i am able to get one made out of 0.025" cold rolled steel. would this be the same as the NOS steel shim head gasket? Or are they textured in some way?

If anyone has knows where to get a NOS one or wouldnt mind parting with one, id really like to know 8)

I had a spare, but sold it to Mr. Mike @ClassicInlines.
He said he was going to get some copies made up, but I don't think he followed through on that.
I too would like some steel head gaskets so let us know how much $$ they might be.
I sure you could get your hands on a used one pretty easy if you want but it'll be flattened out.

I was just wondering if thats all the NOS steel ones were, cut/punched out from flat steel as Ive never seen one before,

Most steel shim style head gaskets are embossed to promote better sealing around the cylinders and water ports, so there is more to it than just a flat piece of steel.
