Help getting 200 to idle

Update:

I set the timing on Wed night. The timing was way far advanced. It slowed the idle down considerably when we did so. I don't have dwell meter, but my dad is suppose to bring his back from his lake house next time he's down there. The good news is the car is working so much better when put into gear. I still have a miss, and it's not idling as well as I would like, but it's a night and day difference. Stupid of us to try to set the timing by ear.

Anyway, I can't take it on the road yet, because the front drivers side break cylinder blew out, so I have to fix it first. I want to run a couple tanks of gas through it and change out the fuel filter. I am also planning on putting a Pertronix unit it it, and will probably change out the vacuum hoses.

Thanks for everyone's help.

I have a brake question, which I will create a new post for.

Make sure you keep the timing light handy when/if you do the petronix. I have read that the timing changes when you install the kit so you will need to re set it. Dont forget to note where you had it before the swap so if you were happy where it was you can get it back there.
