High Performance Air Cleaner

I was thinking about getting an open element air cleaner as opposed to the stock closed one. Are these things really high performance? In other words, are they worth it?

No. It won't help.

A cold air intake setup might do something for you. But I personally wouldn't consider it to be worth the effort...

Don't waste your money on an open-face air cleaner, unless you just want that "look".

A stock 200 air cleaner oughta deliver all the air a stock 200 would ever want.

A duct from the snorkel to in front of the radiator wouldn't be a bad idea, get some cooler air into the engine.

If you want more air, get a slightly taller air filter - it'll result in a gap around the air cleaner lid / housing, allowing all the air your engine will ever want.

If you have $10 to spare you can get the 9" open style from Autozone and just modify the bottom of your current air cleaner. Depends on if you current air cleaner is new or a bummer...not worth looking at!

No real affect with performance...with your setup.
