I6 stroked and bored?

Hey all I'm new to this community and I want to bore out and stroke my 66 200 mustang engine, but I'm not sure if that's even possible or if anyone makes the parts. Anyone have any information?

If you bore the cylinders .030" it will get you to 203"
If you have an unground crankshaft get .040 rod bearings & then offset grind the crank from 3.126 stroke to 3.156 stroke, this will gain you 2 more cubic inches to 205.
Due to camshaft to rod bolt clearance thats about the limit for stock rods.
If you could find a rod which has a smaller big end & notch the camshaft more you could pick up a couple more inches.
Another plus is you will only have to deck the block .010-.015 to achieve 0 deck clearance. Bill

About the only way to get more cubes is to get a 250 block. Of course, then you need transmission parts.

a 250 would give you more options as far as transmissions go. hood clearance is supposed to be an issue though.

The Falcon 6 book talked about using engine mounts from a Maverick as they were supposed to be a little shorter. I don't know if it would be short enough. I'm not sure how this would work out in a Mustang (ie would it fit?) The 250 also required the radiator to be moved forward as well. The though is tempting though...50 more cubes and closer in size to some smaller V8's. I'm just not sure I wanna look into that cup of tea yet.
