Now that I have experience repairing and installing a 240 engine, I am almost completely convinced that I want one in my land yacht T-bird. Only problem is that the wrecking yards only seem to have 250s in their cars.
So, if I go with a 250 (not saying I will), what will I lose? I understand that AODs and C4s that fit a 240 don't fit a 250? I know the head/manifold is one piece (I think), but it that really a problem?
I at least know the 250 would fit into my engine compartment.
What 240 stuff can I reuse on a 250?
