Mark VIII Fan

Has anyone used the Mark VIII alternator with the Mark VIII electric fan swap. I've read that the 94-95 Mustang GT 3G alternators are the easiest to fit. I am planning an electric fan upgrade for my 65 Mustang 200

8) if the alternator comes from the 4.6l engine, it wont work unless you can figure out how to add an adjustable idler pulley. the 5.0, or the taurus 3.8 with the 3g alternator however will fit where your stock alternator does.

I dont know if you were referring to the 94-95 having a 4.6 or if you were just speaking in general abou tthe alternators but the 94 and 95s are all going to have the 5.0 and you shouldnt have any problems running that alternator. I have a 95 alternator that I took off my 95 and it looks to use the same mounting locations and everytihng.

On the 94-95 Mustangs it would be the 5.0L. 1996 was first year for the 4.6L
