1987 F-150 EFI.
Connected to the battery are two factory wires, with black plastic "things" inline on each wire. The "things" look like an inline fuse, but I don't think they can be replaced. If they are disconnected the truck will crank over, but will not start. I believe one wire is for the fuel pumps, the other is for the engine computer?
What are the black plastic "things"?
If no one knows, I will try to post up some pictures of them.
