Does the pin and spacer come with a new cam or do you re-use the old ones?? They did not come with the one we bought. :roll:
Use your old spacer.
If unable to remove the old dowel pin, even by heating the camshaft where the dowel presses in, see the below on an old post by me several years ago.
THE CAMSHAFT DOWEL PIN IS AVAILABLE IN THE PIONEER LISTING.
PART #PF200-25 THE DIMENSIONS ARE, DIAMETER .255 BY .314 IN LENGTH. THE COST IS $.58 DEPENDING WHERE YOU PURCHASE THE PIN.
I THOUGHT I WOULD LIST THIS TO HELP MANY AFTERMARKET CAMSHAFT BUYERS.
I POSTED THIS MANY MONTHS AGO, BUT A LOT OF CAMSHAFT BUYERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF AN AFTERMARKET SOURCE FOR THIS PIN. william
