New starter for X-flow

i just bought a new bosch starter for my X-flow part no. BXF 129. It's one of the small later model starter but is listed for XP - AUII. my problem is it only has 1 terminal on the solenoid which i think is for the starter control feed, but my XC has two wires labeled "starter control feed" and "Starting motor relay to ignition coil B+ terminal". where do i connect the second wire? :?

Yep, you do have one. It'll be a pink wire on the firewall with a bullet connector near the master cylinder. The car will run fine without it, but may take half a turn extra to catch. Make sure the wire formerly connected to the starter is well insulated and taped out of the way. In warm climates (most of Oz) this system is pretty redundant.

Can't see a resistor either on the coil or on the firewall and i can't see tnhe pink wire you're refering to. so i should just tape the coil wire up out of the way? Is there anything else to it?

The wire is a resistive wire. Often only the bullet connector set is visible and the wire is reincorporated into the loom. You'll be fine with a tape job. The other option is an extra relay and some more wiring... Like I said this would be overkill in a warm climate with a well-maintained vehicle.
