Questions on Tri-carb linkage parts and more

There are a couple of things I'm looking for answers on .
1)Where to get Linkage components for an Offy tri-power.(or what parts are needed to fabricate one).
2) Is the stock fuel line large enough for 3 Holley 1908's
3) Do you folks use the stock fuel pump, or is electric a better choice? (I'm still using a Generator)

This is my first shot at building a non stock inline 6.
I was able to grab a 67 200 motor from an old school. The engine was never run (ever), but it was disassembled and reassembled (a lot), painted several times and rolled out for open house.
I have the Flat Offy adapter with 3 Holley 1908's on a 1982 head (reworked and cc'd),
Isky 256 Supercam, Clifford Dual Outlets,
Static and Dynamic balance on the rotating assembly.
My son asks me why I'm going through the time and expense. A 5.0 would be cheaper... I ask myself the same question from time to time.
I have a 61 Comet to place it in.
Wish me luck! If not I'll be posting some slightly used parts here.

Howdy Jim:

Someday your son will discover the wisdom of "cool". Sorry, you can't tell them. They have to discover it on their own.

1. Offenhauser puts the kits together. I'd try them 1st. You might also check with Clifford, although I suspect they will want you to buy the complete kit to get the linkage.

2. Yes, stock type steel fuel lines are adequate for three 1908s, since most delivery will be to just the center carb in all but full throttle.

3. A stock fuel pump, in good shape, is more than adequate. You might want to rethink keeping the generator. An alternator is lighter, more efficient and draws less power to operate.

'61 Comets are way cool. Enjoy the journey.

I am working on mine as we speak. My 22yr old does the same to me. I tell him anybody can buy a 302. Offy 3 one barrel set looks really cool and is a lot of fun too.

was at a car show yesterday,i was put in street mod's class..was up with all the big boy's,22 were in my class..took second place..the car is nice, but the motor freaks them out.....go for it..

Here are a couple of pics of the motor. Ignore the messy garage. Shame on me

I know I should swap to an alternator.. But I got this really cool chrome generator cover..
The generator may have to work hard to manage with DSII and radiator fan. Maybe can sell it on ebay

I called Offy today. Seems they are having supplier problems and it will take weeks to get the parts in. Don't know if I can wait that long (Well, I can, but I don't want to)

I have had some good guidance for this project.
There was a gentleman from a local salvage yard/car sales establishment who used to race the small inline fords and compete against sb Ch**y - and win! After listening to him, I was determined to try it at some point in my life. Well, it's 20 years later and i'm going to give it a shot.
I bought the Falcon Six Performance Handbook and monitored the sessions in this forum for some ideas and technical advice.
I'm not nearly as skilled as all of the people in this forum (I'm a Keyboard Jockey), but I'll do what I can do within my limited skill-set.

I wish I had some the creative thinking I see in some of these posts.
