Quick radiator question

I just bought a new radiator. The bottom of the radiator has 4 holes. Farthest to the left is the large whole the hose attaches to. On the right side is a nut( or something that looks like a butterfly nut). But the 2 in the middle have me concerned. The old radiator has square bolts in these 2 middle holes. Should I remove these bolts from my old radiator and put them in the new one? Do I need to adjust the "butterfly" nut ?

Thanks

The butterfly valve is basically a pet cock...you use it to drain off the radiator. It just needs to be closed when you are filling the radiator. The middle two holes should be for transmission cooler lines for Automatic trannys. I'm not 100% sure though. Unless you have an auto, you'll need to plug these holes up. You can use the old ones or just run to an autoparts store and get two fitted to the radiator.

Good luck.
