Shipping from Australia?

I was wondering how much s/h is from Australia to the states, specifically California? It would be for a 250 2V head and headers. I know I should call some shipping places but since I was on here already I figure I would ask you guys. Thanks.

PM Phil aka ausheads. He has an ad right now under buy sell. He has a container leaving OZ soon. He may also have 2V heads in the states ready to go. I would not import headers from OZ. Shipping will kill ya. They are the same as the US 250 heads. Talk to fordsixparts.com aka azcoupe for details on the headers.

Good luck

You will spend too much shipping one head/fanimold across privately. I've seen the results of doing this and it is cheaper to buy from Az or someone selling a used one "local" to you.

Remember that crating can run $170 Oz on top of purchase costs, also pickup of items (for shipping consolidation) over 20kg requires two personnel so it costs more... Then the time taken up by the sender to fill out paperwork, ensure parts are packed appropriately - you're asking a few family sized favours of people.

If Ausheads can guarantee an arrival (clearance) date, then you may be able to run with him. In the past however, people have had different expectations of delivery times for freight, than he has been able to offer. In other words, cheap and quick generally don't go together.

All this for a part needing rebuild. I seriously suggest that you attend more to the shortblock with parameters in mind for a future 2V install. You'll get more performance sooner, and if a 2V comes along later it'll slot right on.

Yes trying to organize a 40' container full of cars and parts isn't an easy job at the best of times and then you have a couple of items that a spanner (wrench for the Americans amongst us) is dropped in the works then it can easily be delayed.

But not to worry as I have 250 2V's in stock right now along with Crossflows, headers and timing covers so delivery on that stuff isn't a drama.

I am also preparing another container at the moment for additional stock and any special order parts.

how much do you charge for a 2v head and intake?
