I'm not a rocket scientist but I do believe there is something to the Brown's Gas generator concept. I bookmarked it and will study it further, sure wish I had more time to play with stuff like that.

Then he got into the Firestorm plugs and 200 mpg carbs and negative thought waves affecting ice crystals......

Well,

The guy writes a lot and has a lot of good diagrams - so at first I didn't think he was a cook. I even started to think "hey, maybe someone actually did some real testing and demonstrated some real effectiveness of one of these things - could I have been wrong???"

Then I found this, at the end :

Very interesting studies carried out by Mr Masaru Emoto have shown that the thoughts of ordinary members of the public can alter the structure of water without there being any actual physical contact with the water. If the water receives positive thoughts and is then frozen, the resulting crystal structure will be like this:

While on the other hand, if negative thoughts are aimed at the water, whether just by looking at it and thinking, or by writing those thoughts down on paper, the resulting crystal shape is quite different when the water is frozen, as shown here:

It is not all that startling if you consider that the quantum mechanics researchers have been saying for a long time that experiments can be affected by the observer. People who build Joe Cells which operate through environmental energy focused by specially treated and structured pure water, record the fact that certain people can affect a Joe Cell in a negative way from a distance of fifty yards (or metres) away.

Personally, I am quite sure that we do not understand the fundamental nature of our environment and that we have very little idea of how we as individuals impact on our surroundings.

There is an extremely honest and reputable researcher called George Wiseman who operates through his company Eagle-Research. George is very experienced in producing “Brown’s Gasâ€￾ and he publishes excellent instruction books on the subject. The really interesting thing is that Brown’s Gas is produced from water and that gas has the most remarkable properties which are not readily explained by our present day “conventionalâ€￾ science. When Brown’s Gas is used as the gas to power a cutting torch (like an oxy-acetylene torch) the resulting flame is nearly colourless and can be waved across a bare hand without any ill effects - the hand is not burnt. But when applied to a fire brick which is intended to resist high temperatures, it burns a neat hole through it. It will vaporise a tungsten rod which normally takes 6,000oC to do that, which indicates that the flame temperature depends on what it touches (!).

It can also weld aluminium to aluminium without the need for an inert gas. It will weld aluminium to brass and it can weld a steel rod to an ordinary building brick. It can fuse glass to a building brick. This is not “normalâ€￾ for a chemical combustion reaction, showing that Brown’s Gas is not a “normalâ€￾ chemical substance. As Brown’s Gas comes from water, does that perhaps suggest that water is not a “normalâ€￾ chemical substance? I will leave you to make up your own mind about that.

It takes all sorts, I guess? Clearly this sort of "frame of mind" calls into question just about every statement that precedes it.

I'm gonna go practice welding steel to brick - and I'll get back to you with the results. If anyone wants to try using some negative thoughts to re-arrange ice crystals, please do so.

Maybe If I think really positively, I'll get better gas mileage.

Oh, and here is what there is to "Brown's Gas"

H2O + energy = H2 + 02

H2 + 02 = H20 + energy.

If you electrolyze H20, you get "Brown's gas" which is just a stoich combination of two "real" gasses, H2 and 02. If you then burn the H2 and 02 at stoich, you end up with the release of that energy, and water.

Problem is, it takes more energy to break the molecules apart than you get when you burn them.

Simple fact - end of story.

I agree that there is no way to get an energy gain. You can only transfer the source. If you seperated the Hs and Os using a solar panel, you could transfer the power "potential" to your car with browns gas. Your car would be a solar electric hybrid.

I'm waiting for someone to market a simple 12V suction fan/shroud that mounts under the driver's seat squab. The extracted "gases" are fed to the manifold via a check valve.

Effectiveness depends whether the extra methane fuelling is greater in energy ouput than power taken to drive the suction fan.

Great minds think alike, eh? I'm not too interested in perpetual motion but finding cheap energy and converting it into a useable form certainly gets my attention.
