Stromberg Carbs

Does anybody know anything about stromberg carbs and if so should I put them on the61-69 170-200 CID
3x1 with linkage
$200 (Part #5205)

and if they are good carbs what intake should I get from the same site.

Stromberg BVs and BOVs were used on Aussie cars of several brands from the early '60s through the early '80s. They're generally pretty reliable, but you may find it harder to get them rebuilt in the US than Holley one barrels. Can't be sure how similar these may be to your intended purchase.

Hi Matthew,

If you are looking at the stromberg carbs on the hot rod vintage parts site, they won't fit the Offy intake. The Stromberg 97 is vintage hot rod stuff. Old technology, hard to get parts for, and not the best choice for a driver.
