the issue is april 2002

That was a good issue.
Actually there were 3 200ci Feature cars in that issue.

I remember one of our members from France had a friend who dug up a Mustang for restoration equiped with the same setup. He said he thought it was an option over there or something. :? Whether it was or wasn't, it was obvious from the pics that the setup existed before the one in Mustang Monthly. Anyone know what happen to him?

Just thought I'd add an image of a modern day equivalent.

McPaul is referring to François, the "French enthusiast" as he himself put it.

The car had been fitted with a replacement motor, and the blower apparently never hooked up on the new donk. Some parts of the system were missing, he believed.

An identical unit/car was in a picture Molano65 posted at the time, from a mag.

Some times Ford did things in a strange way, one of their first OHV was a London garbage truck.
Ford and Paxton go way back, the s'charger was a T'bird option in '56. Have an old mag somewhere w/ pic of what looks like a '54 Ford Nascar racer w/ Paxton, don't know if retro fit, rules were alittle slack then.
Early Mustang Option in Europe would not surprise me. And to add to the confusion, in the '50s-'60s dealers had what they called "Factory" options that were really dealer options.

If the seller had not thought that the Mercedes S'charger w/ electric clutch was carve from billet gold, might have bought to hold for later project.

i ran across a superharger by TRD(toyota racing development) last night and they said it was bolt on for their inline engine. i forget which one but i thought it was the toyota 6cyl. can we for that s'charger onto the 200??? it looked like it would have fit
