so most chrome valve covers do not have the neck to put the oil fill cap on....what did you do? do you have to get another oil fill cap then?

I have a push on oil breathe rthat I like...but thinking I may not be able to use...

advice?

Yes, unfortunately you need the old school oil breather cap with the neck in the cap. It should fit snug in the grommet. You should be able to find a chrome one at any parts store with a good selection of accessories, or a parts catalog vendor like California Mustang or Summit. You can even get the fancy Ford Motorsports one from Summit IIRC.

i thought maybe I was looking at the wrong valve cover...THANKS

when I bought mine on ebay it came with a breather and cap. I am not using the breather as I have a PCV valve in that spot (still have a road draft tube) the filler cap needed is just a twist on style that they should also have at the parts store.
