Hi
I'm trying to decide which way to go. I have a '66 mustang 200 with headers, and a few other little mods, and want to change my intake system. I do plan to change the cam during the process also.
I have been following along with FSPP's al. head and manifold which seems to be a pretty sweet deal.
I am also interested in the tri-carb look (the 3 side-draft two-barrels on the FSPP head was awesome), like the Offy adapter (from Summit racing), etc.
Does anyone know what the HP/performance benefits of the Offy tri-carb manifold is? How does is compare to the HP/performance of the FSPP head? Is the FSPP head flow tuned better than a stock head?
Price is also a factor, as 3 carbs OFFY-style would be under $1000, FSPP would obviously be more.
And does the loss in weight from the FSPP head add considerably? What is the difference in weight to a OEM log head?
I would appreciate any replies!
Thanks!
