Thank you sir, you mean the turbo or the 200? No turbo did Ford ever option in the bronco, this is a DIY, and the 200 stopped in '74, I believe.
On another note, got the engine installed Friday evening and b/tw my mishaps and being too excited, Finally started it Sat. evening. Don't even ask about the mishaps. Set float, set timing at 6 BTDC and it idles good, well as good without an exhaust pipe.
Hooked up the advance from manifold vac, and it raised initial timing about 8-10 degrees (same with the retard, hooked it up to the port side of the carb and it takes out about 8-10 degrees) Right now I am running about 24-28 degrees total at 3000-3500 rpms. Haven't checked my plugs yet to see if idle is rich or lean. Started with 68 jets and a 6.5 PV and pvcr's are still 0.0625". Need to check vacuum readings throughout entire rpm range.
Have not got it on the road due to trans problems. Tried swapping a V-8 trans into the L6 intermidiate housing (it connects the trans to the transfer case) and will not work due to the length of the housings and spline locations. So now I am looking for a 3.03 HEF trans. ANYBODY GOT ONE AROUND HOUSTON, TEXAS?
Now I have a hesitation right when I hit the throttle. It looks like the squirters are "squirting" too much fuel. It is alot of fuel, and it backfires thru the carb on a cold engine when I bump the throttle, probably because of no choke, huh, or too much fuel from the squirters?
The boost referenced pump is doing it's job, idles at 5.5 psi and raises from there when boost is applied. At @ 2500 rpm my boost gauge reads @ 4psi of boost. Thats as far as I have had it and I all ready like this "super 60" T3.
That's about it for now, as soon as I find another trans (the original HEF in the bronco was tossed...WHY DID I DO THAT

) we will see what this little 200 L6 can do.
