Has anyone pictures of a hooked up water choke?
I couldn't find a picture online, and the water hoses to the heater in the dash are way too big for the fittings of my Weber water choke.
Also I put two ball joint valves inline before and after the heater, to shut water flow to the heater during summertime, is that a problem for a water choke setup?

Thanks!

Lots of cars had those Weber Carb's with water heated choke's like a Pinto, Mustang II, the little Mercury Capri's plus many of the European brands too, with a 4 cylinder or V6 engine if you are able to find any of the manuals or pictures of them. You should be able to tap into the heater hose inlet line direct (or with a fitting like a T or L 90 to then change it's line size to the smaller hose) then going into the front of the choke and back out into the heaters inlet that would be the warmest coolant.

If you can make an H pipe just in front of those ball valves you installed that would be excelant and would still let the coolant recirculate back to the engine and Radiator. But it might not be nessisary many old timers only used one single shut off valve in the return line from the heater core for their summer time use in any case with the choke getting the warm coolant first it should work great even with the ball valves shut off. Best of luck

Hello bubba,
I found a good picture of an Opel with a weber (maybe I shouldn't always add "Ford 200" to all my online searches haha).
Think I will get two T-fittings with a 5/16 outlet for both heater hoses. That way I can make a bypass (with the choke inline) in front of the ball valves.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
