Ok, is a Webber 32/36 DFAV a good carb for a swap on a stock 200 in a 66 stang?, who is the best to get a adapter from. Should I also do a DII dizzy swap at the same time?
It came off a 67-68 stang, did those have 200s or 250s?

I installed the weber and the dizzyII at the same time. I wish I had done them seperatly. That way tuning would have been easier. I could get one set up the way I wanted and then the other. Hope this helps.

If you have a carb with a SCV and a Loadomatic distributor you need to change them both out together as they were designed to work together.

No
it's a 200

Drop in a Pertronix set-up, coil, etc. Enjoy the ride for a while to get used to the increase. Then add the carb, bought from Stovebolt, along with the adapter.

Personally, I prefer the adapter from Clifford. It is made to work without the carb spacer and still orient the carb correctly and not at an angle.

That being said, lately people have started redrilling their Stovebolt adapters to get rid of the spacer and straighten out the carb. I also know that there were some threads a while back (last fall?) saying Clifford was out of stock on the adapters and it was taking a while to get them restocked.

Now that I have made that clear as mud...

Is your engine stock or have you done other work (cam, header, etc.)? I had the 32/36 for a while and eventually replaced it with the 38 DGES (long story). With the other engine mods I did, it seems that the 32/36 was a little small because the 38 woke the car up even more.

Just food for thought.

Maybe the 32-36 it is little beacouse you have change a couple of things in your 6.

I train to make a copy of the clippford adpter and put a Solex 34-34 Carb.

here in Argentina Clipfford adapter is to expensive... :)

Yes - but plan on re-jetting it, which can take awhile. Best source for jets is an Italian guy on ebay, I think Alfa1750 is his name. Read the "rejetting Weber" sticky at the top of this forum for a ton of info/suggestions.

Stovebolt - $10, and redrill two holes so you can do away with the Ford adapter. I posted some pics somewhere on here.

No/Yes - No, if you don't have a SCV carb/dizzy setup. One change at a time is better. If you have a SCV carb/dizzy setup, Yes you'll have to swap dizzys along with the carb. I forget when Ford got rid of the SCV...

I have no idea, but LaGrasta says 200, that's good for me.
