8) the nice thing about the weber carbs, the dcoe, ida, and idf carbs specifically, is that they are easy to adjust. the bad thing about those carbs is that they are easy to adjust. as one of my college instructors(david vizard in fact) once said, there are a 1,000 different adjustments for the weber carbs, and 999 of them are wrong. you can change many things, the main jets, idle jets, emulsion tubes, air corrector jets, accelerator pump jets, chokes, etc. when they are right there is NOTHING like them, save perhaps a proper supercharged engine. these carbs are designed for 1 barrel per cylinder so you will need two of the 3bbl carbs, or 3 2bbl carbs. remember too that the ida carbs are down draft carbs, NOT side draft carbs, so you will need to keep hood clearance in mind.
