well I put in 91 octane and the sound is still there, but I did check my timing after setting it back to stock idle setting which was around 650 and I got about 6*. would this be responsible for the noise that I mentioned earlier?
and another thing to add: my car is having problems.
it starts up fine, runs fine but for the past 2 days after driving for 20 min it starts to die on my in gear then I punch the gas while it is still in gear and the key is still in and it starts up again then if happens again and again until in a few more minutes the car dies and wont start up agian no matter what until I wait for a few minutes then she is ok and the process starts over again. I would like to say it is overheating but it isnt it does not get over 195 and I know my gauge works cause after it is all warmed up and I turn off the car it continues to get hotter until I turn the car back on and it cools off abit again. it turns over like a sweet heard but has a problem.
I doubt it has a vacuum issue to deal with here cause I sometimes press the brake after going a few miles per hour and at times it will want to collapse but other times even going faster it will stay strong like this.
I have good wires, plugs, coil, timing(???), I want it to be the fuel filter and I have two of them one before and after fuel pump. what could be wrong. it cant be anything mechanical cause when I start her up cold turkey she is fine and dandy. she has all the fluids. I dont think this has anything to do with the premium I put cause this sort of thing happened a few weeks ago only once then I never saw it again until 2 days ago. please please help me, pep boys cant, please help.( I willl tell you all about pep boys with the next reply about this current issue ok, it is funny)
