What radiator do I have???

After buying new radiator hoses for my 65 Ranchero (I6 200cid) at the local NAPA store I discovered that the radiator in my car is not the stock radiator. Appearantly the stock radiator has 1 1/4" upper & lower hose connections but my radiator has 1 1/2" upper connector and 1 3/4" bottom connector. I suspect that the rad might be a Mustang rad. Could someone out there that has a Mustang rad sitting around measure the nipples so that I might buy the proper hoses.

Having worked at an Advance auto parts and sold quiet afew radiators, I can tell you. I've sold afew of them that were correct in every aspect except the nipples were the wrong size. I hope that isn's your sitution.

Sounds like the radiator in your car is a V-8 radiator. The radiators fro the rachero and mustangs are the same IIRC.
