Hi I have Clifford headers + Clifford cam and rebuild kit plus 60 thou pistons and the head has been ported and polished also I have the dual weber carb and the exhaust divider .i have also had a custom exhaust built which is exactly the same as a dual flow master.

What kind of figures can I expect?


At the moment it is running really hot how can I cool it down?

8) i am going to say that you are probably at about 120hp at the flywheel. that assumes the stock cam by the way.

as for cooling the engine down, first how hot is the engine running? are you depending on the stock gauge, or do you have a good aftermarket gauge(the stock gauge is notorious for being unreliable). if you do have a heating issue, first determine if the radiator is partially plugged up. if it is replace it with a good new radiator. what thermostat are you running? it should be a 195 stat. do you have the stock fan? a fan clutch? do you have a fan shroud? or are you running an electric fan? if a stock fan, is it four blades or five? do yu have a/c that you run? if you have a fan clutch, is it operating properly? if you have an electric fan, what cfm is it rates at? at what temp do you have it set up to come on and go off?
