i get more top end out of it and it does not stall, but i have to ease on the gas to keep it from bogging, im thinking that this is because it has a spark control valve, im going to try to put a powervalve block off fitting and see if that will fix it

8) Is this going to be your center carb in the tri-power?
I was able to block off the vacuum feed line just forward of the scv, but the scv itself can leak...or you might check the accel pump shot...it's an adjustment in the linkage lever on the autolites IIRC. Good luck

thanks for the info, yeah its acting like the accel pump, i did switch out the diaphram plate with a different one since the one on the carb was broken, yeah im going to use it for the center carb for now
