302 V8 timing set fit a 250

In shopping for parts for my 250 freshen up I've seen that a 302 timing chain set is claimed to fit a 250. Is this true.

Are you talking about using a double roller timing chain? If so the answer is Yes it's possible and you can search through the old posts and find that it's been done by both "Does 10's" and "Mike1157" with pictures and good detail. But It's not a bolt on swap.

Is there any way you can go to Will's website and download the pictures an fix his thread? I already went to his photo site and there are a couple. Same with mike1157, especially since he is dissatisfied with this site, it would be a shame to lose the info/pics.
