air box

I just recently bought a Holley carburetor book as to help me better understand how it works and how to tune it to max efficiency and the one paged about forced induction says that a box around the carb completely eliminates the need for any modification to the carb if one were to install a turbo/supercharger for blowthrough applications and was wondering if this is true or if one would still need to make some slight modifications

floats will also crush.

also you have to seal the entrance for the throttle shaft/cable which can be a bigger issue. the box needs to hold up for 20PSI or so withouth leaking. to change jets you would have to take the box apart.
