Bell Housing Patterns

Well, it used to be done on the full race 300's with 2 Cleveland 351 heads for H/Gas ( cut and weld), and with the 16 valve Volvo heads onto 2.3 Ford for a Cosworth look-alike( re-drill some holes and using some external oil pressure and drainage)...

The bore spacing is exactly the same (stands to reason, of course) so it shouldn't be a terribly hard feat to accomplish. Just expensive. It would probably be cheaper to mill off the 200's intake and reshape the chambers to match the HSC.
 
No kiddin? Ain't that somethin'! Wow! Never had a clue and is seems so dang impossible... Besides, it's HARD to weld cast, hard as hell...
 
They are generally furnace brazed together. The parts are clamped together with thin brass stock between, then heated until the brass melts and sticks the iron together via capillary action and the magic of metallurgy. Then it's slowly cooled to prevent warping. Voila!
