Hi All

I am going to purchase a new cam from Classic Inlines and the dual roller timing set.I notice a package that includes the bearing and lifters as well.Do I need these and what is the difference on the lifters when they have 200-SSt,200-TOY and 200-STY.
Also, they offer an optional spring package.Should I get that as well.
I was going to buy just the cam(264,110) and the timing set and use with the new rebuild kit that I have(stock).
Any info would be greatly appreciated. This whole cam thing is confusing.

I don't know the answers to all of your questions, but if you replace a cam, replace the lifters as well. Cams and lifters develope a wear pattern and you don't want to ruin your new cam.

I just went through this process wth Mike. Buy the cam and lifters. They go together. Also get the springs too. Roller rockers are drop in and the best bet if you are going to all the trouble to get to the cam in the first place. Dual roller timing is also another great upgrade. Great for hi revs.

If you have questions, you should call Mike, he is busy now, but always has time for questions. We need to support him by buying his products, Not out of charity, but because his vision has created the best 6cyl performance parts you can find anywhere.

If I wanted to back that up with facts and not BS, I would tell you to check out the article in M&F Nov07 issue on the build up with his parts and Will and Kellys place. Consider the press here and from the previous month's article, as well as Hot Rod and the fact that in 3-4 weeks Mike is heading to PINK's.

Need I say anymore!
