Falcon 200 w/Auto -- just keeps dying randomly

Thanks for the info. I definitely would cure the problem I'm having first, but just didn't know anything about Pertronix so thought I'd ask.

I rarely ever have to adjust my points, so it doesn't sound like a huge advantage to me, but I dunno for sure. I just change out the points whenever I do a major tune up, adjust them, and they stay great for the most part.

I appreciate everyone's feedback. I've now had two problem-free commutes with my new coil, so I'm feeling decent that I have it solved for the most part.

You probably wouldn't gain anything with the Pertronix, there really aren't very many of us who don't mind adjusting points though 8)

I love my pertronix setup but would not install it until AFTER you solve your current problem. I say this because I had an intermittant electical problem (car would die unexpectedly) which turned out to be a loose ground inside the distributor where the pertronix module mounts- of course this added to my problems instead of solving them....
Runs great now that that little bolt is tight...
