I had a problem with the engine stalling on left hand turns for about a year now. Replaced EVERYTHING. Finally, I ordered a new adapter from summitracing.com to replace the one from Clifford which had 2 holes at the bottom that I had to cover. The new one doesn't have those holes and I still had to do a little grinding on the new adapter. Drove it today and it seems to have more power as well as no more stalling! Only big problem is that the new adapter turned the carb around almost 180 degrees so none of my linkage, fuel lines, and vacuum lines fit anymore. Thankfully they were all too long, so I don't have to buy new ones, just cut them down. Still don't know what is going on with the one fuel mixture screw, it doesn't bog down the motor when I turn it all the way in. I'll save that for another day. Everything is running smooth now. Whew! I need a break!
