Wanted Ford 250 Carb Spacer

I am looking for this carb spacer. Unfortunately the threads have pulled out of one side. So my options are to replace it or helicoil the stud threads. I saw one on ebay for $45, was hoping someone might have one a little cheaper.

Are you actually using the EGR valve that is hung off the side of your current spacer? There is an older version of the spacer that does not have that big EGR mounting flange on it.

Would it be possible to just get a longer stud and put a nut on the end? Can’t quite tell from the picture if there is enough room.

No, it is blocked off and my return spring for the throttle is mounted there. I have looked into moving it to allow for me to use one without the egr protrusion but I haven’t looked for an alternate spot yet.

Would probably have to file down the head to make it fit between the spacer and head.
