Well I was tired of not being able to drive it so my friend and I put the old nitrous motor in it with the turbo and nitrous yesterday! I have not been able to drive it yet but it sounds great in the shop running! I am not sure how the turbo is going to do with the flat tops and 280 cam but at least it is running! I still need to do some adjusting on it before I go running it hard and of course it started raining today. :?

Stupid rain, its got me behind just the same. I wish it would get sunny and AT LEAST into the 60's so I can use my fingers instead of freezing them and having them go numb. PLEASE get that thing out and let us know how it runs...after the freakin rain dies down

Hey, 62,
Your from Carbondale? My sister goes to Southern Ill. Maybe sometime when I go visit her we can get together! Maybe I can get my car running well enough to make the trip
Matt

yeah from C'dale. hang out with disney every once in awhile (that is if you know dan and his buddies)

hopefully I can get my manifold milled before spring break and get that turbo on whenI am at home too

Yeah, I know Dan firsthand, but Disney I dont think Ive ever met other than online, and one time I went to FX and saw his lincoln leavin the parkin lot.

 It stopped raining so I just took it out for a little drive. WOW! This thing is NO joke now! I turned the boost down to just 6psi, timming at 28 total and the wide band showing 11.5:1 a/f ratio and it runs STRONG! It spools super fast and has NO traction anywhere in first. I can't wait to get it to the track! The 280 cam and flat tops seem to do really well with the turbo so far! With a little tuning and some more boost I don't think I will even need the nitrous! I will keep it on there just in case though.

Sounds good Dan!
It's about time that ride gets back on the road.
Post some times when you get it out to the track.
Boost is beautiful! :D
Later,
Will

Keep it up man, heard the stang made a show at SFX a while back, but I missed it. When you thinkin bout bringin it back out? Keep on it man!
Matt

 Naa... just a head gasket. I got her back going again now. My fault as usual. Pump gas+ upping the timming without a light+ mashing on it when it was getting hot= pop! pop! whoops! Now it has 100% race gas in it, timming at 10 degrees, and I am not going to beat on it when it is hot! I found out I like to drive it more than working on it!
