Hello All,
I am new to this forum and new to L6-200 (and Mustangs for that matter), and I am craving tech and "how to" info for my 67 mustang coupe. I would be greatful if you guys could give me some sugestions on Links/products for my Ford Six. I know it's impossible to find free, online diagrams, but what do you do when you can't find any diagrams for you engine at all? Also if there is anyone in the Williamsburg Va area that is into these engines and is looking for a weekend (I go to WM) apprentice/extra set of hands I am readdy to learn. On a Tech note I have an air cleanner paradox, with my Mustang. It's not the orignal and I can't figure out which one it is. Let me know what you think.

----The stock cleaner is all closed up except for the air-intake-port and the opening to the carb. My air cleaner has a port in the back to a PVC joint. I'm confused. Thanks for your time.[/img]

Welcome to the forum!!! :D

sorry to break it to you but your avatar picture can only be soemthing like 100x100 or 80x80 or something of the likes.

Other than that do what you can to search the forum.Odds are someone has had the same problem and has posted about it.
Once again WELCOME!!

BTW what wheels are those on your coupe and also it's a very nice looking mustang :D

well, for the links, have you looked at the homepage of the forum? Jack has a good amount of tech stuff in there, as well as links for products

it all comes down to what you want to do with your mustang, what are the plans for it? just want it to go faster? want it to beat anything out there? what?

welcome

Welcome! Its been awhile since I have seen my car so I'm not sure if I'
m right on this. That looks like a large log head? Has the engine been swapped before? They may have used the air cleaner from the donor car.

Welcome...hang around a while, start scrolling back on the performance forum and you'll find some good ideas for performance related stuff.

BTW, nice car.

Wait! C-Six,ya should've told him about all the freaks! Awww Hell,he'll learn soon enough..... :o :D  :P :!: OO6.

welcome to the forum, the solution to the aircleaner problem may be to get a nice shiny one...it should give u lotsa horsepower too :D ...if there weren't any freaks on this forum i think i would be bored with it by now

thanks guys espeacialy for resizing my photo (wow) basically I need to make this car dependable and THEN fast.

welcome, it is hard to beleive but if you figure out the square inches of the air cleaner to base the area is adaquate to feed a stock carburetor. i still drilled 2 holes in the bottom of the lid because i have a modified pony carb. this air cleaner will be changed when i go through the block & install flat pistons & a 78 cylinder head with a holley 2300 350 cfm carb. welcome aboard. william :D

welcome aboard!! I wish I had the body of my 67' finished and lookin' as nice as yours, heck I wish I even had my engine in the car...one day soon it will happen though.
