Well, I have been putting off replaceing my fuel sending unit long enough (I ran out of gas a few nights ago...how embarasing
).
Since I have to pull the tank anyway, I was going to take the oportunity to replace the tank and sender. However, I thought of a stupid question that some of you must have experience with.
What have others used in the past for temporary storage of the gas?
Right now, I am guessing there are about 8 gallons worth in the tank. I will try and burn off some this weekend just driving around, but I don't have a clue what my milage is and don't want to run out on the road again.
