I saw your post on the crippled Fordsix.com forum and thought I'd reply this way.
1st thing you've got to do is decide what your ulitmate goal will be for this engine. Do you want to continue with bolt-ons and call it good? Do a head up performance build? Or a complete block up build?
2nd, is this a Calif Emissions engine? The answer to this is critical to getting the most out of what you have. The stock '67 200 C/E engines got a better distributor, with centrifugal and vacuum advance, but got less CFM in the carb, down from 185 to 150, along with the elimination of the spark control valve. There are solutions, but 1st, let me know what you're working with.
THe C/E head is also limited, even more than other '67 castings, because of exhaust injection tubes inserted into the exhaust ports, and taps for an air pump.
To get the most out of whatever else you do, you should consider finding a D7XX or later head and building from there. The later head will have a larger carb hole, bigger intake valves, hardened seats and larger intake tract volume. In building, add a port divider, mill to your compression ratio goal, add a three angle valve job, back cut the intake valves, polish the combustion chambers and pocket port both the intake and the exhaust.
If you're planning to upgrade to a two barrel, modify the log to mount the carb directly.
And, regardless of what else you might do, step up to a DuraSpark II electronic ignition. This is a foundation, no matter what else you may do.
