multi carb turbo?

the compressor wheel does a good job of breaking up the droplets out of the carb, but the problem is they like to condense in the compressor housing again!

the 500 CFM 2bbl would work on the draw thru? also what thickness steel plate should I get for making the flange plates to weld stuff like the top plate for the carb plenun to the exhaust pipe, to mount the carb on?

1/4 thick plate steel.

The 500 will be fine, but you have to externally reference the power valve on ANY draw through carb to the intake manifold.

Reason for that is under boost, the carb will still see vacuum (suction) and will go lean

The factory 3.8 buick carb I have is already externally referenced.

How is the factory 3.8 carb referenced for boost? I have the turbo setup, but not the carb yet. Was thinking of just getting a stock carb. Do they use a hard line from the carb to the compressed side of the turbo, or what?

I think they use a hard line. the boost refrenced Q jets are available rebuilt for around $300 fom www.rockauto.com just look under 1978 Buick Regal Sport

Its actually just rubber vaccum line. They weren't designed to run a lot of psi (less than 8?)

Instead of usingn a vacuum source under the throttle plate to run the power valve piston, there is a nipple on the side....a piece of hose runs from that nipple to the intake manifold.

I don't see the need for 2 wastegates.

If it's a divided scroll housing (the ideal setup), I could see the need for them. The exhaust is seperate until after the turbo.
